Not all "mixed source"
"After all, if pure open source business models don’t pay, if we’re all mixed source now, why not enter into Microsoft’s orbit?"
This is a good object lesson demonstrating Richard Stallman's concerns over using terms other than GNU/Linux to try to describe genuine Free Software.
We ARE NOT "all mixed source now"! The Free Software Community relies on properly licensed software, most of it under the GPL.
Most of the Free Software Community wouldn't be caught dead with hybrid mixtures of "Open Source" and proprietary software infesting their machines.
