It seems every new computer in the last year has had Linux, but to most people that doesn’t mean anything. It probably leaves you wondering, “what’s this Linux thing everyone’s talking about?”

Article Could be Better
GNU is designed to be more than just a collection of tools, GNU is designed to be a completely free operating system. At least Mackenzie attempts to include the fact that Linux is free speech instead of solely pointing out the gratis aspect of Linux. I guess it's better that they get this info in easy to swallow bite size nuggets than to be overwhelmed with the concept of liberty and subjugation.
