Ubuntu Tweak 0.5.4 was released today. It doesn't come with new major features except an option to customize the GDM (login screen), which you can use to change the login screen background, logo, disable the user list, disable the login sound and disable showing the restart buttons:

I found a really quick fix today for disabling ipv6 completely on Ubuntu 7.10 (not yet tested on previous versions). This might be of interest to some of you that have had networking problems, as I’ve heard disabling ipv6 at least within the browser has been a help here. This tutorial will disable ipv6 completely on the machine.

Sometime during the Ubuntu 9.04 release, Canonical added a 60-second delay when Reboot or Shutdown was selected. At that time it was at least possible to go to the "User Switcher Preferences" and disable the delay. Now, with the 9.10 release, that disable option seems to have disappeared.
Looks like a lot of people have been having trouble with over the sensitive tap-to-click function of the Asus EEE PC's touchpads when using Ubuntu-EEE. I was too, until I stumbled across this article which explains precisely how to disable tap-to-click by enabling the elantech driver. The article is so low in pagerank that you can't find it by googling for the problem.
