KDE 4 is coming, and it is bringing a truckload of improvements and goodies. Among these, there is the brand-new Oxygen icon theme. Oxygen will be the default icon theme of KDE 4 and it is going to be damn good.

Every few weeks Nuno Pinheiro and the KDE Oxygen Icons team are publishing a new usability survey online to get feedback from users on the look and feel of icons.

There have been promises of an overhaul to Ubuntu's default theme for quite some time. Ubuntu 9.10, set to be released at the end of this month, will begin delivering on those promises.  Below, we take a look at the new system theme and artwork that will debut in Karmic Koala.

Gstyle is a new full Gnome theme manager with some really great features which I am sure you will love if you like to customize your Desktop look constantly. Gstyle can automatically download and install wallpapers, Xsplash, GTK themes, icon themes, full themes, mouse pointers and more from gnome-look, deviantart, customize.org and others, or directly from the software source.

Linux GDM is a GDM login screen theme.Gdm (the GNOME Display Manager) is a highly configurable reimplementation of xdm, the X Display Manager. Gdm allows you to log into your system with the X Window System running and supports running several different X sessions on your local machine at the same time. This tutorial will explain how to install GDM theme in Ubuntu.

There are a variety of free and premium WordPress themes that you can find throughout the web. You will sometime find that you can spend hours trying to modify the theme, so it is tailored to the way you want it. Sometimes it’s easier to create your own from scratch, and not deal with the headaches that can happen with customization of an existing WordPress theme.

Nodoka is the new Fedora default theme for Gnome. It currently contains gtk engine, gtk theme, metacity theme and gnome meta theme .If you want to install nodoka theme in Ubuntu follow this procedure.

With the announcement of the Oxygen Wallpaper Contest in August, we, the Oxygen Team, intended to have the KDE community give the brand new KDE 4 desktop its face - and the response was overwhelming! Artists and KDE enthusiasts submitted around 2000 high quality pictures, most of them being fantastic wallpapers.
